Program Summary

Project Overview: Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC) will deliver the We Get to Choose (WGTC) curriculum to African American youth ages 15-19 in after-school settings in Philadelphia, PA. The WGTC curriculum includes the following, multi-level intervention components: (1) a six-module intervention designed for youth; (2) a four-module Askable Adult intervention for parents and adult caregivers; and (3) an Askable Adult intervention designed for staff working in youth-serving organizations. The intervention is further amplified through media literacy, storytelling, and communications training for youth participants, allowing them to share their stories and messages among their peers.
