Requirement: Federal Public Web sites Must Comply with the Government Paperwork Elimination Act (GPEA). All federal public web sites must comply with the Government Paperwork Elimination Act (GPEA, Pub. L. 105-277). The Act requires that, when practicable, federal organizations use electronic forms, electronic filing, and electronic signatures to conduct official business with the public, by 2003. Organizations should review the Act to ensure that their public web sites meet the full range of requirements:
