E-Gov Travel

Training

Transportation Services (TS) will provide comprehensive training for all E-Gov Travel Service 2 (ETS2) users. All users – travelers, approvers, preparers, and Federal Agency Travel Administrators (FATAs) – will be offered computer-based training. The course will be modular, based on user group. Additionally, Lead FATAs, as determined by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Operating and Staff Divisions, will have the opportunity to attend instructor-led training to learn the administrative functions of the new system.

To ensure that all users have timely access to the trainings, TS will conduct trainings for individual Operating and Staff Divisions to coincide with their ETS2 transition dates.

In addition, a series of virtual “town hall” meetings will be held to provide ETS2 users with an opportunity to ask questions and gain additional insights into the new travel system. The meetings, which will afford users direct access to the experts, will be offered to each Operating and Staff Division just prior to launch, and additional sessions may be scheduled if necessary.
