ETS2

Overview

Transportation Services (TS) is managing the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) transition to the new federal travel system, Concur Government Edition (CGE), which is available under the E-Gov Travel Service 2 (ETS2) contract. CGE will offer a number of improvements and benefits over the current system (GovTrip) to travelers, travel administrators, and the federal government as a whole.

CGE will expand upon the successes of GovTrip to provide greater usability, functionality, security, compliance, and cost savings. Further, as part of the transition,  CGE and the supporting systems will help government agencies move more from travel tracking to travel management, bolstering the federal government’s travel budgeting and planning efforts.

In administering the ETS2 transition for HHS, TS acts as the liaison with the General Services Administration (GSA), the vendor, and HHS Operating and Staff Divisions to ensure a smooth and successful deployment of the new system.
