An annual flu vaccine can help protect you, and prevent you from giving flu to your patients, your colleagues and your family.

Vaccinate your patients

The flu vaccine is the best way to prevent influenza hospitalizations and deaths. Influenza causes an average of 36,000 deaths and 226,000 hospitalizations per year in the U.S.

Protect your community

Promote the flu vaccine throughout the influenza season. October and November are the best months to vaccinate, but the vaccine can be given as early as September and can be given in December and beyond.
