Summary: Prototype an Agency-wide project management platform for improved Marketplace outreach coordination that can scale to other parts of the Department.
CMS is facing significant challenges in implementing the ACA that require many modifications and improvements. These improvements will be done through collaborative projects and campaigns. CMS currently tracks campaigns and initiatives in the Regions using Excel spreadsheet project plans and Word documents that are distributed via email and sometimes posted on various shared drives.
The current process creates duplication of efforts, missed information, and wasted time spent finding and verifying critical information. Distributing and tracking project plans via email inhibits our ability to effectively manage, coordinate and collaborate.
The focus of the Marketplace Collaboration project is to re-design the process over a 3 month period (ending October 1) to enable Campaign and Project Collaboration that meets the following critical requirements; Easy to Use, Collaborative, Updates in Real Time, Supports Project Milestones and Task Management
