Title XX Introduction: Target Population Review

Prevention projects serve youth ages 9-18 years old and their families. Both boys and girls are served through these projects. Care projects serve pregnant adolescents and adolescent parents under 19 years of age (at program entry), with primary emphasis on unmarried adolescents who are 17 years old or younger. Services are also provided to the adolescents’ children, extended family members, teen fathers, husbands and/or male partners with whom the teens are in a long-term relationship.
