Of course funding is an essential component of collaboration, however the skills, knowledge, and information gained will strengthen and bring credibility to your program. Collaborative partnerships can also result in less duplication in services with a higher impact for the community than if the agency tried to tackle the effort on its own. Through collaboration your agency can build its capacity to deliver more of what your clients need and complex issues involving more than just your agency’s focus can be addressed.¹
