A. Research supported by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) which is subject to review by a Protocol Review Committee of the Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD) as listed below:

      PROG Proton Radiation Oncology Group
      RDOG Radiological Diagnostic Oncology Group
      RTOG Radiation Therapy Oncology Group
      SWOG Southwest Oncology Group

  2. All NCI-funded Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP) protocols using NCI-sponsored or supplied IND agents.

  3.Protocols using either NCI-sponsored IND agents or NCI-supplied agents such as by NCI-designated Cancer Centers (CACTRs), including their affiliated entities.

  4.International Collaborations with NCI Cooperative Oncology Groups and/or IND agents supplied by NCI by holders of OPRR-approved International Cooperative Project Assurances (ICPAs), for example EORTC (a complete list of all OPRR-approved ICPAs is maintained at  http://www.hhs.gov/ohrp/humansubjects/assurance/icpa.htm.


B. Research supported by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) which is subject to review by a Protocol Review Committee of the Division of AIDS (DAIDS) or the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (DMID) as below:

  1. All Community Programs for Clinical Research on AIDS (CPCRA) protocols.

  2. All AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) protocols.

  3. All DAIDS Treatment Research Initiative (DATRI) protocols.
