The EPLC framework consists of ten life cycle phases: Initiation through Disposition.
Artifacts include: Templates - standardized documents with a preset format; Practices Guides - brief documents describing the background, requirements, best practices; and Checklists - brief documents listing the items to be noted, checked, remembered and delivered when completing the accompanying template.
Stage Gate Reviews are conducted at the end of each phase. Questions regarding the life cycle phases should be directed to eplctraining@hhs.gov.
