On December 1, 2003, Secretary Tommy G. Thompson led a parade and the U.S. Delegation as it marched in the World AIDS Day parade.

Secretary Thompson, Dr. Brian Chituwo, M.D., Zambian Health Minister, WHO Director- General J.W. Lee, M.D., and Ambassador Randall Tobias, U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator, lead the parade.
