HHS Secretary Tommy G. Thompson today joined the American Diabetes Association in announcing a new survey revealing that 68 percent of people with diabetes are not aware of their increased risk for heart disease and stroke. HHS also highlighted the ABCs of Diabetes campaign, which offers people with diabetes essential information on managing their health.
