Safeguard the Food Supply: FDA
We will also invest an additional $5 million in the Food and Drug Administration to help coordinate the agency's existing food surveillance capabilities, better connect public health and environmental officials, and integrate with the Department of Homeland Security's threat analyses. The $5 million will be in addition to FDA's food safety budget, which is almost $116 million this year.
