Healthy Young America Video Contest
The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and Young Invincibles launched the Healthy Young America video contest, an effort to mobilize young people to help educate and inform one another about the Affordable Care Act.
We received more than 100 videos, the public voted, and a finalist was selected in each of three themes:

Erin McDonald was named the Grand Prize winner with her video "Forget about the Price Tag" in a Google+ Hangout featuring Kal Penn and White House Health Care policy expert Christen Linke Young on December 2. Watch Erin's video below.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the three themes (nine finalists in all) competed against each other for the Grand Prize. Watch their videos below.
HOW THE WINNERS WERE CHOSEN
Two weeks of voting in the first round determined the 1st place finalist for each of the three categories.
Votes were submitted online - each person could vote up to three times per theme, per day. Judges determined the 2nd and 3rd place winners for each theme.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the three themes competed against each other for the Grand Prize.
