ANA encourages Native American Tribes and organizational leaders to propose, coordinate and implement community-based projects and services that meet the needs of their community members and create options and opportunities for future generations.

Eligible Entity(ies)

• Federally Recognized Indian Tribes;
• Incorporated non-Federally and State recognized Indian Tribes;
• Alaska Native Villages, as defined in the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act and/or non-profit Village consortia;
• Non-profit Alaska Native Regional Corporations/Associations in Alaska with Village specific projects;
• Other Tribal or Village organizations or consortia of  Indian Tribes; and
• Tribal governing bodies (Indian Reorganization Act or Traditional Councils) as recognized by the Bureau of Indian Affairs
