Description

The over-arching purpose of MAI grant programs is to evaluate and address the disproportionate impact of HIV/AIDS on, and the disparities in access, treatment, care, and outcomes for, racial and ethnic minorities (including African American, Alaska Natives, Latinos, American Indian, Asian American,Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. Part B MAI funding is a new grant program for supplemental support education and outreach services to increase the number of eligible racial and ethnic minorities who have access to treatment through the program under the Part B AIDS Drug Assistance Program for therapeutics.

Eligible Entity(ies)

Eligibility is open to CEO for all Part B grantees including, 50 states, Washington, DC, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Guam and five Associated Jurisdictions in the Pacific.
