Description

Grants are awarded to eligible institutions to provide financial support to conduct research on selected topics relevant to implementation of Adolescent Family Life (AFL) demonstration projects.  The purpose of this research grant program is to expand the research base regarding family involvement as it pertains to AFL project activities that intend to increase parents' involvement in the lives of their adolescent children, whether to prevent pregnancy through abstinence education or to ameliorate conditions for adolescents who are already pregnant or parenting.
