Description:

The Indian Health Service (IHS) announces a cooperative agreement, HHS-2008-IHS-HLY-0001 for Tribes or Tribal organizations to promote healthy lifestyles among American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) youth using the curriculum "Together Raising Awareness for Indian Life" (TRAIL) among selected Boys and Girls Clubs sites. The purpose of the initiative is to address healthy lifestyle development with a focus on nutrition and physical activity for children and youth 6 through 17 years of age.

Eligible Entity(ies):

Federally recognized Tribes, Tribal Organizations, and Non-profit Urban Indian organizations. Applicant must provide proof of federally recognized status.

American Indian and Alaska Native youth
