Description

The purpose of RESEP is to encourage and support appropriate health care organizations to improve the knowledge base and health status of persons adversely affected by the mining, milling, or transporting of uranium and the testing of nuclear weapons for the Nation's weapons arsenal.

Eligible Entity(ies)

Statutory Preference: Only health care organizations located in one of the high-impact States according to RECA (P.L. 106-245) are eligible to apply. Eligibility is open to non-profit organizations, including faith-based and community-based organizations in one of the high-impact States (AZ, CO, ID, NV, NM, ND, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WY).
