Regarding health data, I understand that our breastfeeding statistics are from surveys--retroactive, from memory. Since breastfeeding is such an important health indicator it should be ACCURATELY assessed at every pediatric visit up to 2 years and recorded on all pediatric charts. This data should also be compiled by the CDC, then we can really see how important it is to get babies back to the breast in America. Why is such a potent health indicator only assessed by surveys?
