On average, HHS hires about 50 Fellows annually and is the premier employer of Presidential Management Fellows. HHS provides its Fellows with an enriched environment for training, rotational assignments, and professional development.

Each HHS Operating Division handles recruitment, placement, and training for PMFs. The OpDiv and OS Coordinators act as a first-line resource for Fellows and their supervisors and work closely with the Department Coordinator on all aspects of the management of the Program.
