Adolescent Health Topics

Adolescent health spans many areas, from mental and physical health to healthy relationships. The choices made and behaviors adopted during these years affect adolescents' overall wellbeing and, potentially, their health throughout their lives. OAH currently monitors five areas of adolescent health: reproductive health, mental health, physical health, substance abuse, and relationships. OAH has developed Adolescent Health Highlights that summarize research in these important areas. We also feature resources and tips from across government agencies. Please visit each of OAH's topic areas (see below) to learn more about the many domains of adolescent health.
