- Providing expert assistance in implementing Commercial Services Management techniques, including full-service planning and implementation of higher-performing organizations, in compliance with OMB Directives and Circulars
- Ensuring timely completion and announcement of all planned Commercial Services Management competitions in accordance with performance requirements; facilitating the transfer of best practices through Department-wide and government-wide Commercial Services Management meetings
- Providing Department-wide assistance in implementing business process re-engineering, organizational streamlining, and restructuring
- Institutionalizing performance measurement for program evaluation and productivity improvement by tracking trends in ASAM key performance indicators
- Completing Capital Planning and Investment Control compliance requirements in accordance with HHS information technology policies; attaining authorizations to operate
- Ensuring shared services optimization by actively monitoring Service and Supply Fund (SSF) Board and Workgroup discussions
- Leveraging sustainability-related savings/cost avoidances for further environmental initiatives
- Accelerating the pace and effectiveness of change by assisting senior leadership in planning, coordinating, and disseminating Department-wide reports (e.g., the FY 2009 Management Report to Employees)
